The Wita HE 180 mm solar pump is a reliable and efficient replacement solution for existing solar thermal and heating systems. Without integrated speed control, this pump is ideally suited for conventional operation of older systems with an adapted solar controller configuration.

By clearly focusing on smooth operation, the pump offers practical functions that facilitate installation in old systems and ensure a reliable supply.

Technical details

The pump has a length of 180 mm and is suitable for pipe diameters of DN 25 and threads of G 1½". This ensures easy integration into existing installations.

With the option to switch between two power levels for different delivery heads – 4 or 6 meters – the solar pump adapts flexibly to individual requirements. At a height of 4 meters, it achieves a flow rate of up to 2800 l/h with an energy consumption of 3 to 25 watts, while at 6 meters, a flow rate of 3600 l/h is achieved with 3 to 45 watts.

Energy efficiency and operation

The stated energy efficiency index is a maximum of 0.20, indicating optimized energy use. This enables economical operation, which is of particular importance in the solar energy sector.

Of particular note is the adjustment of the solar controller: If the solar pump is used as a replacement solution, it is important to set the controller to 100% power to ensure proper functioning. Furthermore, the night setback function ensures energy-saving operation during the reduced-power periods.

Characteristic curves and operating modes

The Wita HE solar pump offers a total of three constant characteristic curves, two constant pressure characteristic curves, and two proportional characteristic curves. These diverse operating modes make it possible to control the output according to demand and to adapt it to different system types.

Design and quality

The pump housing is coated with a protective cataphoresis finish, which improves corrosion protection and extends the unit's lifespan. The motor head, finished in RAL 9006 white and made of aluminum, underscores the pump's modern and high-quality design.
