Product Overview & Application Area
The 120-liter hot water tank with heating element combines the GEMA ETWS 120-liter hot water tank with a matching Elektromet EJK mini 2000 heating cartridge. This bundle is suitable for central domestic hot water and hot water preparation when a standing tank with a pipe heat exchanger and an additional electric reheat option is required.
The tank is listed as WGJ-S OEM 120 MG and is intended for vertical installation. The water connections are routed upward, the integrated pipe heat exchanger allows connection to a suitable heat source, while the 2 kW heating cartridge can be used as an electric auxiliary heat source.
Technology & Equipment
The ETWS 120-liter is designed as a standing domestic hot water tank with a pipe heat exchanger. The ceramic inner coating, the magnesium anode, and the polyurethane foam insulation are designed for continuous operation in hot water preparation. The outer casing is made of HIPS plastic.
The included Elektromet EJK mini 2000 is an electric heating cartridge with an insulated heating element, 230 V connection, stepless temperature control, and a safety temperature limiter. The tank has a heating element stub with a 1 1/2 inch female thread for this purpose; the EJK mini 2000 is intended for the WGJ-S OEM 120 MG.
Everyday Benefits
The bundle offers a clear combination of tank and matching electric auxiliary heating. This allows the tank to be integrated into a heating system via the pipe heat exchanger and, if needed, electrically supported via the heating cartridge.
The stepless temperature control of the heating cartridge makes it easier to adapt to the desired hot water demand. The frost protection function and the red indicator light for heating operation support clear, everyday operation.
System Integration & Compatibility
The storage tank is intended for central domestic hot water and hot water preparation and can be connected to suitable heat sources via the integrated pipe heat exchanger. The upward-facing connections support a clear hydraulic integration.
For electric auxiliary heating, the storage tank is equipped with an MG heating element stub with 1 1/2 inch female thread. The included EJK mini 2000 with 230 V is intended for this storage tank; the electrical connection and inspection of the installation situation are carried out professionally according to the separate heating cartridge instructions.

Installation
The tank must be installed vertically and connected to the water supply network and the heating system. Before connection and commissioning, the installation location, load-bearing capacity, sealing surfaces, connection position, and safety valve must be checked by a qualified professional.
The heating cartridge is inserted into the designated heating rod socket and may only be operated electrically once the tank is completely filled with water and the installation situation has been checked. The heating element and temperature sensor of the heating cartridge must be completely surrounded by water during operation.
Notes
The tank may only be operated with a functioning safety valve on the cold water inlet. No shut-off device may be installed between the safety valve and the tank. In the event of increased mains water pressure, the pressure situation must be checked professionally.
The magnesium anode must be checked regularly. With calcareous water, shorter inspection and cleaning intervals may be advisable. For the electric auxiliary heating, the specifications in the heating cartridge instructions, the type plate, and the professional inspection of the specific installation situation are decisive.
