Operating the heating system is intuitive and comfortable thanks to the integrated touchscreen. With weather-compensated heating circuit control, the system automatically adapts to outdoor temperatures and ensures a constant room temperature.
The integrated buffer management enables, in addition to the intermediate storage of heating energy, economical and cost-efficient heating behavior. Users thus benefit from state-of-the-art control technology without complicated setting processes.
Practical functions and additional options
A special highlight of the complete package is the automatic burner cleaning, which minimizes maintenance effort and keeps the boiler's performance consistently high. The ceramic deflection plate supports stable combustion and thus extends the service life of the system.
Optionally, thanks to a conversion kit, the boiler can also be operated in wood emergency mode, offering additional flexibility in energy supply. The generously sized pellet container always allows for longer operating times without frequent refilling.

The compact dimensions of the Defro Komfort Ekopell allow for easy integration into almost any boiler room. Installation is facilitated by the flexible connection of the chimney in natural draft mode.
Components included in the scope of delivery, such as the draft regulator, support trouble-free commissioning and ensure uninterrupted operation of the heating system.
Sustainable hygiene and domestic hot water heating
The integrated hygienic fresh water combination storage tank FK ensures impeccable heating of domestic hot water. Thanks to the stainless steel heat exchanger, the domestic hot water is heated using the flow-through principle, effectively preventing the formation of legionella.
Manufactured from high-quality steel and designed according to the highest standards such as DIN 4753 and the European standard EN 12897, the combination storage tank guarantees safe and energy-saving hot water preparation.
Reliable expansion vessels for heating and water supply systems
The robust expansion vessels ensure the safe operation of the heating system. Available in four different sizes (80, 100, 140 and 200 liters), there is a suitable solution for every system to compensate for pressure fluctuations and prevent damage.
Furthermore, specialized membrane pressure expansion vessels guarantee reliable pressure compensation control in drinking and process water systems. With pre-set pressures and simple installation, these systems meet the highest safety requirements and ensure error-free operation.
Flowjet flow-through fitting – safe and precise control
The Flowjet flow-through fitting ¾" offers a reliable shut-off and draining solution for irrigation and drinking water systems. The robust device supports the safe operation of membrane pressure expansion vessels and guarantees precise control functions.
Thanks to the design for high operating overpressures and operating temperatures, installers and planners can benefit from flexible use and straightforward integration into existing systems.
Connection packages and mounting sets for smooth installation
The complete package also includes suitable connection packages for the Defro Komfort Ekopell, which are specifically matched to the boiler and the combination storage tank. The sets contain essential components such as boiler fill and drain valves, gunmetal double nipples, T-pieces, dirt traps and other important elements.
With the universally applicable mounting set for combination storage tanks, the connection of buffer tanks for hot water heating is carried out quickly and safely. Detailed installation and hydraulic diagrams make it easier for installers to integrate into the existing system and ensure optimal operation of the entire heating system.
