Product Overview & Application Area
The Attack SLX 35 Combi Pellet is a water-fed combination boiler for wood and pellets. It is suitable as a central heat source for heating systems in residential buildings, holiday homes, small businesses, and comparable properties when a biomass heating system with flexible fuel use is planned.
In wood operation, the boiler works on the principle of wood gasification. For pellet operation, a pellet burner is provided that enables operation with wood pellets. The boiler output must be matched to the heating load and the planned system configuration.
Technology & Equipment
The combination boiler is designed for split logs and wood pellets, but not for simultaneous operation with both fuels. In wood operation, combustion takes place according to the gasification principle with an induced draft fan, while in pellet operation the pellet burner handles fuel supply, ignition, and combustion.
Equipment includes a PROFI-PID controller, a flue gas heat exchanger with turbulators, a water-cooled boiler body, and a pellet burner on a pantograph arm. The controller monitors key operating values and can control, among other things, the heating circuit and the domestic hot water or buffer tank charging pump.
Everyday Benefits
The Attack SLX 35 COMBI Pellet combines manual wood firing with the more convenient pellet operation in a single boiler. The large loading chamber makes wood operation easier, while pellet operation reduces the effort required compared to pure log wood firing.
The display of operating states, fault diagnosis, and structured control support clear operation. For long-term stable operation, professional installation, suitable fuel, regular maintenance, and clean hydraulic integration remain crucial.
System Integration & Compatibility
The combination boiler is integrated into water-based heating systems and requires suitable return temperature raising to ensure the required return temperature is maintained. In wood operation, integration with a buffer tank is intended; in pure pellet operation, the system logic may differ and must be planned accordingly.
For pellet operation, a suitable pellet container and a screw conveyor are required. The chimney, safety valve, thermal drain safety device, hydraulic integration, and electrical connections must be designed according to the applicable regulations and the specific installation situation.

Assembly
The installation of the boiler should be carried out by a qualified specialist company based on local requirements and the manufacturer's documentation. This includes checking the installation room, integration into the heating system, the chimney connection, the electrical supply, and the safety equipment of the system.
For operation, a suitable return temperature increase is required. In addition, the thermal drain safety device, the required chimney draft, and the appropriate hydraulic components must be included in the system planning.
Notes
The boiler must not be operated with wood and pellets at the same time. For wood operation, dry split logs with suitable residual moisture must be used; for pellet operation, wood pellets with a diameter of 6 mm and a maximum length of 35 mm are intended.
The power selection and system design must match the heating load, hydraulics, chimney, and the intended operating mode. The information serves as technical guidance and does not replace professional planning of the heating system.
