Combi Tabs 200g / 1 kg – Versatile Water Treatment for Swimming Pools
Product Description
The Combi Tabs offer an efficient solution for water treatment in swimming pools. With two different package sizes, 200g and 1 kg, they meet the needs of both smaller and larger facilities. These tablets combine multiple active ingredients that disinfect, flocculate, and brighten the water, thereby achieving long-term pleasant bathing water quality.
With an application that goes beyond the pure disinfection process, the Combi Tabs also ensure that the growth of eyelashes is suppressed. This contributes to a clear water surface and reduces possible visible residues in the pool.
Advantages and Disadvantages
The advantages of the Combi Tabs lie in their versatile effect: they reliably disinfect, promote flocculation, and improve the visual brightness of the water. In addition, the contained substances prevent the growth of eyelashes, keeping the pool's appearance permanently well-maintained.
A possible disadvantage is that without accompanying cleaning or additional measures, the green pool does not remain permanently clean. Regular monitoring and care are therefore essential to ensure optimal water quality.
Application Instructions
Before application, the pH value of the pool water should be checked with a suitable tester. An optimal pH range is between 6.8 and 7.6. In case of deviations, the pH value can be corrected with special preparations, pH MINUS or pH PLUS.
For hard water, the use of a hardness stabilizer is recommended to regulate water hardness. Before introducing the Combi Tabs, it is also advisable to perform an initial chlorination with the designated preparation CHLOR START – all according to the enclosed instructions.
Dosage and Monitoring
For dosing, one Kombi Maxi tablet is used per 20 to 30 m³ of pool water. This amount ensures a continuously required chlorine concentration of 0.3 to 0.5 mg/l for a period of 5 to 10 days, depending on factors such as air and water temperature, sunlight intensity, and pool usage.
Regular checks of the active chlorine concentration and the pH value are essential to guarantee consistently safe water quality. Suitable test methods should always be used for this purpose to be able to react quickly to changes in the water.
Safety and Warnings
It is of utmost importance to read and follow the instructions for use carefully. The Kombi Tabs must not come into direct contact with foil, plastic, or pool coatings, as they can discolor these materials or cause white spots. They should also not be mixed with other chemicals, as this can trigger dangerous reactions.
Caution is required during use: the product is harmful if swallowed, can cause severe eye and respiratory irritation, and is highly toxic to aquatic organisms. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse promptly with water. Also, ensure that the tablets are not inhaled and that dust does not enter the environment. All instructions on the packaging must be strictly followed to minimize safety risks.
