Aquaflam Vario Barma Wood-Burning Stove – 11.1 kW Wood Stove with Ceramic Cladding
Short Description
The Aquaflam Vario Barma is a powerful wood-burning stove with a nominal heat output of 11.1 kW and a heating capacity for rooms up to 300 m³. The side cladding made of replaceable ceramic tiles gives the stove an attractive appearance and allows individual adaptation to the living space.
Performance and Efficiency
The stove operates with primary, secondary, and tertiary air, achieving particularly clean and efficient combustion with low fuel consumption. The combination of convection heat and well-designed air flow ensures rapid heating of the installation room.
With a combustion chamber capacity for logs up to 45 cm in length and a robust construction, the Vario Barma offers long-lasting operational reliability and economical operation.
Design and Variants
The ceramic tiles on the sides are available in different colors and can be easily removed or replaced, allowing the design to adapt to changing interior ideas. The blackened edges of the viewing window give the stove an elegant look and emphasize the play of flames.
Construction and Materials
The combustion chamber is made of 5 mm boiler steel and is lined with fireproof fireclay bricks, which increases radiant heat and durability. A cast iron grate ensures stable support for the logs, and below it a removable ash pan collects residues for easy disposal.
Operation and Safety
The air supply is controlled manually via a regulator below the combustion chamber, allowing the combustion to be adjusted individually. The combustion chamber door features a three-point locking system that ensures safe and permanently tight closing.
An integrated air wash keeps the view of the flames clear for longer and reduces cleaning effort, while dimensionally stable gaskets ensure a long service life without frequent replacement.
Connections and Options
The Vario Barma is equipped as standard with a connection for external combustion air; the pre-assembled Eko-Air-In system can be used optionally to draw combustion air directly from outside, thus not burdening the room air. This also reduces the risk of flashbacks from gaseous components and increases efficiency.
If you prefer a water-bearing stove, the Vario Barma Manual model with a pre-assembled water jacket is available as an alternative in the range.
Installation and Area of Use
The stove is suitable for living spaces where a powerful, convection-intensive heater is desired and can reliably heat rooms up to approximately 300 m³. During installation, attention must be paid to adequate air supply, connection to the chimney, and local regulations; professional installation by a certified stove fitter is recommended.
Care and Maintenance
Regular removal of ash from the removable container, occasional cleaning of the viewing window, and checking the gaskets maintain the functionality and appearance of the stove. The robust materials reduce maintenance effort and extend the service life.
Approvals and Standards
The Vario Barma meets numerous requirements and approvals, including DIN EN 13240, DINplus, BImSchV Stage 2, 15a B-VG, and the Flamme Verte certificate.
