This innovative post-heating module offers a flexible solution for water heating in central heating systems. It is specifically designed for use in combination with photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, boilers, and other heating systems. The device supports operation by converting excess electricity into heat, thus making a sustainable contribution to energy optimization.
The sophisticated design combines technical efficiency with robust materials. This makes the after-heating module a reliable solution that performs convincingly even under exceptional heating demands. It is ideally suited for flexible use in various heating systems.
The auxiliary heating module is versatile. It utilizes excess electricity, such as that generated by a photovoltaic system, to support the heating system. This ensures efficient use of available energy. The device also serves as a backup solution should the main boiler, condensing boiler, or heat pump fail.
Another practical application is heating weekend or holiday homes even during the colder months. The module can also be used to charge a heating buffer tank, thus ensuring a continuous and on-demand hot water supply.
The instantaneous water heater for central heating systems has precise connection options: The flow and return connections measure 1 1/4" IG, while the connection for the heating element is on 1 1/2" It is designed for internal threads. It reaches a maximum permissible operating temperature of 90 °C and operates safely up to an operating pressure of 10 bar.
The selection of suitable heating elements – available as 3.0 kW, 4.5 kW or 6.0 kW at 400V – offers flexibility to individually adapt the device to specific requirements. The module's inner diameter is 60 mm, while its compact dimensions of 161 mm in diameter and 600 mm in length allow for easy integration into existing systems.
The MDC 400 backup heating module offers a wide range of applications – from emergency heating in the event of a system failure to supplemental heating during critical winter months. When used in combination with heat pumps or boilers, it makes a significant contribution to the reliability of your heating system.
Its flexible applicability in open and closed heating systems, as well as its connection for heating cartridges up to 6.0 kW, makes it an ideal add-on module. This allows for optimal compensation of seasonal temperature fluctuations or planned maintenance work.
